Beretta 92FS, semi-automatic pistol by Beretta.

The Beretta 92FS was an upgrade of the Beretta 92F, which experienced issues with the slide when tested by the U.S. government. This model has an enlarged hammer pin, which fits into a groove on the underside of the slide, to prevent the slide from flying off the frame to the rear, if it cracks. The improvements made with the 92FS had the M9 designation move to the 92FS, from the 92F.
