Overview
The Object 223 was an experimental design based on the KV-1. It was a lengthened hull with 7 roadwheels per side instead of 6. Object 223 was designed to have a 107mm ZiS-6 main gun.Series production was intended to start in late 1941, but the German invasion of Russia halted these plans and the only prototype hull - of an unknown KV-3 variant - was destroyed.
